How to Order Medication

There are several different ways that you can order your medication. We request that you allow 48 hours (2 working days) for us to process your prescription and send it to your nominated pharmacy.

The easiest and quickest way to order your medication is to do so online. You can order your repeat prescription and view the status of your order through the app or website.

To order your medication online, you will need to have an online account through a provider such as the NHS app or Patient Access and link your GP records. Read more about creating online accounts and linking your GP here.

You can also email your prescription request to us. Please email oldswan.hcgp@nhs.net and make sure to include your full name, date of birth and a list of the medications that you would like to order.

Please be aware that this email is for prescription requests only, any other enquires should be sent to GP.N82074@nhs.net.

You can pop in to the surgery and order your prescription in person, or post your prescription request in the box outside of the entrance.

Due to the high volume of phone calls we receive daily, we are unfortunately unable to accept routine prescription requests over the phone, unless you (or the patient you represent) meet the criteria below:

  • Housebound patients
  • Patients over 70 years of age
