The Practice Nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Heart Disease and Kidney Disease. They also offer appointments for Cervical Smears, Travel Vaccinations, Baby Immunisations, Family Planning and Healthy Living advice.

 
 

Ms Margaret M

Margy is responsible for health checks, blood pressure management and routine vaccinations, such as B12, Shingles, Pneumonia and Flu vaccines.

 
 

Mr Adebiyi A

The first contact practitioner (FCP) is an experienced physiotherapist who has the
advanced skills necessary to assess and diagnose patients in a Primary Care setting.
They can recommend appropriate treatment or referral for musculoskeletal (MSK)
physiotherapy, imaging, or further investigations. They will often prescribe exercise

District Nurses

The District Nurses care for patients in their own homes, this includes; managing and delivering care to patients with complex health needs, giving support and advice in relation to their ongoing treatment, wound management, palliative care, bereavement support and health promotion.

Referral to the District Nursing team can be done by your GP, Practice Nurse or Hospital Clinician.

 

Community Matrons

Our community matrons are registered nurses who provide regular contact for housebound patients who have long-term medical conditions. The community matrons see patients at home and also those who live in nursing and residential homes. Referral to community matrons is via the GP, Hospital Consultant or Clinical Nurse Specialist.

 

Midwives

The midwives hold a weekly antenatal clinic here in the surgery on Thursday mornings. Appointments for this clinic can be booked by reception.

 

Health Visitors

Health Visitors work in people's homes, community health centres, Children's Centres and GP surgeries supporting parents in the promotion of health and wellbeing of all pre-school aged children across Liverpool. All children and families with children 5 and under receive this service.

 

Citizens Advice

The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) provide a free and confidential service that helps to improve patients' health and wellbeing by assisting with legal, debt, financial, consumer, housing and other problems.
